The LockJaw® Synthetic Shackle, Not for Lifting, with a 33,333‑lb working load limit and 4" working diameter, is a heavy‑duty soft shackle in a compact size. It is designed as a direct replacement for screw‑pin shackles in demanding recovery and pulling jobs. It is not for overhead lifting.

This is one of the strongest shackles in the LockJaw® Not for Lifting line. It has a 33,333‑lb WLL (about 16.7 tons) and a 99,999‑lb breaking strength, with a 3:1 design factor and a 5/8" nominal chain size equivalent. Even so, the high‑strength HMPE construction keeps it much lighter than a steel shackle of similar capacity. The 4" working diameter fits common recovery points, bumper eyes, and strap loops while keeping the connection controlled. The patented aluminum lock is permanently attached, which eliminates the lost pins that are common with steel shackles.

This shackle is labeled “Not for Lifting” and is meant for horizontal pulls in heavy recovery, not for hoisting. It replaces Bow, Anchor, and D‑Ring shackles, and it won’t rust or freeze up. It also has a UV‑ and weather‑resistant finish. If it is overloaded to failure, it falls to the ground, which reduces the risk of injury. It is made in the USA for vehicle recovery, transportation, mining, agriculture, and off‑road use.
