The LockJaw® Synthetic Shackle, Not for Lifting, with a 26,666‑lb working load limit and 3.5" working diameter, is a compact, high‑capacity soft shackle. It is designed as a direct replacement for traditional screw‑pin shackles in vehicle recovery, towing, and pulling. It is not for overhead lifting.

Made from high‑strength HMPE fibers, this LockJaw® shackle has a 26,666‑lb WLL (about 13.3 tons) and an 79,998‑lb breaking strength, which gives it a 3:1 design factor. Its nominal chain size equivalent is 5/8". The 3.5" working diameter keeps connections snug on recovery points, bumper eyes, rings, and strap loops. It is light enough that you can carry several in a recovery kit without adding bulk. The patented aluminum lock is permanently attached, so there is no pin to lose. The flexible fibers allow pulling at full load from many different angles.

This shackle is labeled “Not for Lifting” and is built for horizontal pulls, not overhead hoisting. One shackle can be used as a Bow, Anchor, or D‑Ring shackle. It is impervious to rust and ice and has a UV‑ and weather‑resistant finish. If it breaks from overload, it falls to the ground, which minimizes the risk of injury. It is made in the USA and suited to recovery, transportation, mining, agriculture, and off‑road work.
